Was out on Hubbard yesterday with my 13 yr old son on our new ride. Since I have not installed my electronics or trolling motor on it yet the day was mostly spent riding around and watching other boats fish. It was nearing time to go so we headed for the marina and happened across a couple of fishermen that seemed to be catching fish so we decided to sit and watch. They motioned us to come over and fish next to them, I was reluctant at first since I did not want to interfere with their bite. They assured me that it was not an issue and threw a line to us so we could train up with them over the fish. That was my "first 1st", meeting TFF members Rockwall Roy and Silent Tiger. The "second 1st" was my son boating the first fish in our new boat. He continued to catch nice sandies while I was only able to catch fish that resembled bait. Very nice to meet you guys and like I said, you can always pull next to me and fish and I almost always have a cooler of adult beverages (soda for the kids) on hand for fellow TFF'rs. Thanks again.

Nice work, Roy! Nice boat and nice pics! Talked to Tiger at church today and he said yall did good yesterday.

We did pretty good! Morning and late afternoon the bit was on with a lull at noon. We went around the lake 3 times but never gave up. I kept looking for action like we had last weekend. Didn't find that but was slower and consistant with almost every spot producing. They were in 23 to 35. Moving in and out as fast as they showed up. Late afternoon the massive bait balls showed up then we had to get tiger home before he got grounded by his wife. LOL.
