Headed there next week for a one day trip, never been. Would really like to hook up a couple big stripers. Any suggestions on lures, colors, presentation, locations would be appreciated. Headed up from Northlake.

We are seeing a few good ones but September not really prime time for big ones. Best look early with slabs and swim baits either between railroad bridge and 70 or north of the islands. Lots of action on the flats but mostly small to medium fish.

I hear they are catching over by the morning wood tree to the east of untied knot point. If you get to a floating bait, you've gone too far.

Doesn't sound like it is a lot of help. Maybe he is on the wrong lake.
