the fish still bit great! We were able to get our trips in everyday except Thursday when the North Wind was howling at 15-20MPH, and today as the much appreciated rain came our way. Kiddos and Adults who think like Kiddos were on board much of the week! The Whites did a little Top Water Schooling on the Flats a couple of days and on others we had to go with the RSR Slabs to get our box full. We're starting to experience the "Summertime Bite" with that early AM Top Water and then you have to hunt em' down to get your fish fry material. If you don't find them on the main lake, you'll need to make the trip up either arm of the Lake and fish the Creek Points, Humps, and Drop-Offs in 15'-20' FOW. Many folks get frustrated this time of the year as the easy Spring bite is not happening and you have to burn some gas to get your fish. hammer If all else fails, hire a Guide as he/she is on the Lake everyday and can show you where and how to catch them in the Dog Days of Summer.
