Hi, my friend and I are planning to head to possum kingdom and fish the dam and the brazos, any tips for stripers/hybrids?

Might aught to go to Granbury. The floodgates have not opened and the only fish in that river are the ones that have survived since last years flood. I drive out to PK across that bridge at least 40 weeks a year and there is always a bunch of cars there. It's fished hard.

Not worth the trip

Everyone on here either hates you or doesn't want to give away their spots. Fishing for me is great below PK on craw imitations. If you want to catch striper throw something flashy like your spinners and underspins and also jerkbaits can be deadly on stripers.

Agreed. Plenty of fish there. For whites and stripers, throw anything shad-like. Bas will stick to normal baits, craws, flukes....

Make sure you wear your swimsuit and water shoes or water boots and plenty of tackle.
