Where can I find some sandbass on Whitney?

Im a teacher and coach and dont have a ton of time to get out this spring break, but want to be somewhat efficient when I get out there.

Sand Bass are running up the river, but still a lot in the main lake from State Park to Cedron Park...Fished 3 days this week and caught lots SB trolling crankbaits... Watch for the birds...

Plenty of sandbass in the main lake and sometimes the birds will give them away. Caught them as fast as we could take them off last week on slabs and chrome rattle traps. Wind direction pushes bait and they would follow.
