Anyone have any luck? I can find little fish no problem, am I staying to far South? Haven't been north of Hybrid yet.

I was there this morning, found fish everywhere but couldn't get them to bite. There were schools of shad all over the place, on every other cast I would snag one, mostly small ones. I changed lure colors, size nothing would work, at times when reeling in I could feel lure hitting the fish.
I saw a lot of boats along the dam, anyone know what they were fishing for?
