Went to Tawakoni today before the rain blow in. Whent all around the lake I mean all around the lake lol and could not any schooling fish. After about 4 hours of looking ended up at Holiday Humps. Started trolling with DD22's
Wife started putting rods up to head to the ramp before the storm hit. Then Bam and Bam both rods where hooked up. Both rods had 20 inch strippers. Ended up catching 9 keepers all 20 to 25 inches long. All fish were released. I have pictures but do not know how to post them.

Sounds like a great day. Tried hellpets but haven't tried DD22's. Are you using a pet spoon as a trailer?

I had one rod with a hellpet and the other with a DD22. We doubled up on the first pass then the DD 22 was catching more fish so changed hellpet to DD 22 also. The hellpets work great but I was looking for a Monster Strapper lol it was fun watching the bigger strapper blowing out of the water going air born.
