Haven't been out to Lewisville in a few years now but was hoping to head up there Friday and Saturday with my dad for father's day. Hoping to put him on some nice fish on a different lake since all he's been doing is sandies on Joe Pool. The wife and I drove around the lake over the weekend and saw it was pretty flooded. Any advice would be greatly appreciated since we haven't fished Lewisville for quite some time now. Thanks in advance and will be sure to post pictures if we get anything.

Channal cat spawning in rocks old dam area. Drift points where your seeing sandbass activity. Blues will be underneath. Plenty of box fish to be caught, might get lucky and catch a slot fish for some pics. Shad/ shad heads bait of choice of course. Good luck

Thanks for the updates! Jacky those are some awesome pictures. Always great to see kids smiling with fish. Unfortunately my nephew broke his arm on the monkey bars at school right before the school year ended. He caught his first fish this year a few weeks before he broke his arm and he's been wanting to go ever since. Hope to put my dad on fish like that this weekend cause it would really get him and the nephew excited to see grandpa on some fish.

Live shad and 8 dozen minnows I'm just going to assume that live bait is the recommended choice of presentation? Also any advice on boat ramps? With all this rain which ramps are currently open? Thanks again all! Hoping for a great weekend! DanX

Little elm ramp on Eldorado should be open. And its a really nice area that they turned it into.

Thanks guys! Looking forward to getting out there. Found out the nephew got his cast removed today so he's pretty excited to get out there. Will be great to see his little 7 year old face light up again while reeling in some fish

lots of boats on deadmans but generally speaking they have been smaller fish. the spillway humps have been producing larger fish for me lately. the odd thing is that I am finding them in different depths. usually i wouldn't look at 35-40FOW but have been killing them at that depth lately. in some areas of the lake the thermocline is already settling in around 32 FOW. if you see a thermocline just move.
ill be out his afternoon. white fishmaster center console. stop and say hi.
