Not much sense trying Whitney this weekend so Im thinking about trying Aquilla. Any suggestions or am I wasting my time.

Went by Lake Aquilla this afternoon.... water was reasonably clear for Aquilla.... lots of boats out there.... at least there were a number of rigs in the Dairy Hill Parking lot... They were fishing, just don't know if they were catching.

The water is not too high and the ramp is in great shape.

Thanks, have you fished white bass there? Mostly hear about crappie and cats there.

Yes... plenty of whites.. though generally smaller than those on Whitney... Fish the dam area, the long point that comes down from the V in the lower portion of the lake... or the west side of the main lake.. there are three or four humps on the lake.. if you have a map, take a look at it.. fishing is easy on the lake, don't out think yourself.
