Thinking about heading to T-wok for the first time. What ramp do you guys recommend, coming from the DFW area? Prefer a dock since I may be launching alone.

Thanks in advance.

State Park is my favorite. Paved parking and lots of it. Multiple docks.

I prefer Holiday Marina to launch. Closer to where I fish and handy to make a run back in case the weather changes. State Park is nice, just a bit more of a run than I like to make unless I have to.

A bit of advice, either take someone with you who is familiar with the lake, or pay close attention to the depth and go slow until you learn the lake. There are lots of places that can get someone in trouble in a hurry. Not really as bad now in most areas as it can be when the lake is lower, but Tawakoni has no shortage of places that can cause big trouble quickly.

If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much space!

Thanks for the heads up, psycho0819. I've gotten pretty cautious as I get older ... run in with a rock pile at Ray Roberts scared me straight.
