Who will test the Big Swings in the BP as previously discussed ? The BP is predicted to reach 30.4 according to Wunderground on Sunday. I for one, will fish Sat. am. Two points BP over 30.4 and swings over .03.

I'd go on Sunday and fish 6am to 1pm,..

If I fished Saturday I'd start at 10 am.

Moon phase, wind directions and temperature were my only considerations.

Having said that good luck in getting fish to bite your hooks with all those food and baits present in the water...

Why do I go fishing? To catch a box of fish and/or some quality time under the sun. Thank Heaven I never fail fishing in Texas, catching box fish or plenty of sunburn.

Fish caught were fairly deep. Both boats fished PK. mid lake. Bait was marked as deep as 45 fow. Ounce and a half bendable slabs ripped thru arches worked the best.

After fishing almost every day for years in a row I've noticed there isn't any uniformity to the pressure thing. I've had killer days on days when pressure was super high...rising and falling baro. I've also had slow days on a steady barometer.

I use to pay attention to it a lot more...now, after seeing how inconsistent and really how fish do what they want when that want...I just go fish, and hardly look at it anymore.

It is more noticeable when fishing in the creeks. ( during the spring spawn ). We hammerd the fish on Twak Sunday afternoon.

I've asked every guide I've ever fished with and even a few ichthyologists (fish scientists) over the years about this issue. Their input and my own experiences point to:
-If you've got nothing to go on go with moon phase on predicting activity.
-Weather fronts trump moon phase on when fish will be active.
-Fish don't know about weather or moon phase - it doesn't matter -go any time you can.
