I am taking my wife and daughters out on the lake tomorrow. I am thinking Ray Roberts for sandies in the morning. In looking at a couple of posts it looks like they are going strong. Any recommendations for starting points or other advice you have would be appreciated. Thank you!

I just called and they will be open again on Monday morning, but they are not sure about after that. Apparently Sat. night people caught fish and cleaned them all over the ramp. the owners had to clean it up this morning and understandably are not happy. If you do launch there and see people cleaning fish ask them to stop. This is the only launch open on ray Roberts and they are about to get it shut down.

I called as well and the lady I spoke to told me to call back before driving out there in the morning. She said that wife wants to leave it open and the husband wants to shut it down. They have already presold some passes for tomorrow but she said to still call because they may not to. Thank you for the heads up.

I may hit Lake Lewisville instead.

only takes one idiot to ruin it for the rest of the folks! It did look like the Corp and TP&W were working on the Sanger ramp area this weekend. Hopefully they will be able to get it open soon.

Marina Operators, if you read this, I want to thank you for opening up the ramp. We've used it 3 out of the last 4 days and it's very organized with plenty of parking!

I ended up going to Lake Lewisville yesterday for a couple of hours. We had a great time and probably caughter 40-50 sandies. They were schooling like crazy! The kids had a blast.
