fishing is good at night. Get yourself a green LED light, find a cove or a dock that normally is lit by a mercury light or dock lights and drop the light. The stripers I've been catching have been in 30 feet. They won't come up to take a minnow from a bobber but if you tight line a shiner or ghost minnow down about 18-20 feet they will take it.
I'd recommend a circle hook. With shiners I'm catching 5 throwbacks for every keeper. With a bait holder hook you'll kill a lot of the lil guys.
Can't buy a sand bass anymore. I guess they either went out with the flood waters or the stripers ate them.
Good luck.

How deep do you drop your green light?

No more than 3 feet. Fishing has been very tough at PK due to the water release which caused a lot of the fish to go out the flood gates. Still some nice ones to catch. Got this one last night.
