Would like to see if anything is biting at Hubbard this morning. Anyone headed out there?

Fish have to eat. Just have to locate em and entice them with something they want...

We were out there yesterday and only caught 2 small ones. Only my second time on the lake. First time we caught about 6 or 8 Sand Bass. Still learning the lake and my electronics. I hear the place to go is down south on the east shore line before you get to the dam and north of I-30 and on the east side of the lake in the timber.

I marked good fish at red barn point, peanut, point between Terry Park and iron horse, Rush Creek, and not so much near burned out bridge south to the pits. Fished from 7:30 to 11 with shad of all varieties and caught one 15" hybrid. Wind was up so I did not fish the levies. Hubbard seems to be off this year. I thought it was the water flowing through but I have heard that they have the Lavon gates closed.

Lavon gates definitely are not closed. The lake has dropped 2 feet in a week. Fishing has just been off for a while on hub. The largemouth bite has been tough too.

I did not think they were but a buddy of mine said he went down 78 the other day there was no flow.

Too windy. It looks like an ocean out there.
