I decide to hit the lake this afternoon so I loaded the boat up and went to my boys school to pick him up with the boat and head straight to the lake. Got on the water at 3:15 and fished til 5:45, ended the short trip with 50 on the clicker. Caught fish in 25 FOW on Ole' Uglys and flies. Saw some shad hitting the surface and a few sandies maybe chasing a few also. My boy had a clear torpedo on a rod but never caught anything on it. Water temp on the south end was 82.

That is what fishing is all about. Keeping kids interest in fishing to keep them from playing golf and aquiring other bad habits. LOL

gotta get some of that. Good job.

Give a man a fish, he'll eat for a day. Teach him how to fish, he'll be gone every weekend.
