Its going to get worse on the flooding if they can't start releasing water due to downstream Red River flooding!

check out the massive wall of water heading for texoma on the red river as measured in Terral Ok. Somebody wake up the guy at the dam and tell him to turn all four generators on and open the flood gates!

The Corp will not open the gates until the water can be handled down stream. I don't remember what year it was, but the water was over the hwy 70 bridge. It was closed between Durant and Kingston. I think it was late 80's or early 90's. The lake was built for Flood Control and nothing on the lake or around it has any bearing on what they do with the gates. So I am told.
