I'm taking some friends out and we'll be in kayaks fishing next Saturday. I was thinking of us launching at Hamm creek park, but there are several other places south toward Lake Whitney that also looked good.
Question is do you guys think we'll run into a mess of sandies at Hamm or closer to the lake? I want it to be a good trip for them. I catch and release everything I get (but do catch it on my GoPro cams).
Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I've never fished that area before.
