Any reports from whitney? Brother just bought a nitro boat and I wanna try and find some stripers in the near future. Any helpful info would be appreciated.

We went Monday and caught mainly small stripers, and a bunch of them. We did bring home 5 nice whites that were still not spawned out. 4 of the 5 were females and still had eggs. We caught them in 30-35 ft of water on gold and silver slabs from rsr. The fish we caught were right on the bottom. We marked fish all day, well we didn't get there til around 11 and left at 4, but the bigger fish wouldn't bite, and they only would bite that half and half gold and silver slab, any other color wouldn't get bit near as good. Could have been the high pressure that set in that slowed them down.
