Fished 7:15 - 11:30. Water about 10 inches above normal pool & 89-91 degrees on east side of lake. Sunnies slowed down from 2 weeks ago, but still a decent day. Got 25-30 with a few slabs mixed in & 1 good bass. Tried some new spots for a few hours with no success. Tried out a new sport video camera today, & if I ever figure out how to download to my computer & edit, I will share at some point. Waiting for my "Help Desk" (wife) to get home from work. Did figure out how to use the "collage" software so I can now combine shots into one frame...

Vogey. Have you ever fished Fayette during the winter? If so how was the bite?

I have fished Fayette a lot during the winter over the years. I was also targeting bass and did good on most days. Picked up some nice fish by the dam and the power plant!

I have never fished Fayette in the winter for Sunnies. Actually, this is the first summer I have chased sunnies on Fayette. Does anyone know of fishermen catching sunnies in the dam area ? Just curious...

Late fall is the closet to winter I have fished Fayette. The weather was warm but there had already been several cold fronts that had blown through. Had a good day. Found em still holding close to the reed beds and in the timbers.



Side Note: Never had much luck on the sunnies by the dam or power plant. I have friends of mine who Fish Fayette during the winter for bass and they usually do good in the dam/power plant area during the winter.
