Fished the following places this week! #1 Lake Mcqueeney. #2. Lake Placid. #3 Guadalupe River above New Braunfels. #4. Meadow Lake.

Lake Mcqueeney: Sunfish are scattered but finding some nice ones by brush piles in 12 to 16 feet of water. Located some nice Crappie in 16 feet of water hanging on brush piles and ledges. Jigs Chartreuse/Black was the bait used for the Crappie and a small crank bait Chartreuse/Black caught the Sunnies. Also caught a couple of nice Bass in the 3 to 5 pound range.

Lake Placid: Fishing was slow. Caught a couple of scattered Crappie and a small bass.

Guadalupe River: Trout bite is HOT! Getting limits every time out! Sinking crawdad fly is working best!

Meadow Lake: Caught a bunch of nice Bluegill holding in 15 feet of water on brush piles. Kept a bunch for an upcoming fish fry. Used night crawlers! Also looked for some Crappie and caught a couple that were scattered in 16 feet of water. Jigs Chartreuse/Black caught the crappie.

Overall had a good week!
