The Rio bite in the Hill Country and South Texas is still pretty GOOD! Been catching a few each time I have been chasing the sunnies. A lot of Rios are on nest and are not biting anything. The ones that are biting are being caught in 3 to 6 feet of water close to structure such as rocks, sunken tree limbs, and brush piles. Bottom techniques with small pieces of worm was the bait used. Catching summer time Rios. It just don't get any better! fish

Those are cool to catch, like a bonus when you hook one! We caught some nice ones last week around junction after work. They bit grasshopper flies pretty good.
