all,
Just returned from a long weekend fishing the Llano and San Saba rivers. I fell in love with the San Saba- it's wadeable and holds nice fish- especially big red breasts. (yellow bellies)
Here are some photos of this part of the trip

Day 2 on the San Saba- very productive for LMB bass, guads,and sunfish

Side Note: Fished the San Saba last August just outside of Junction. Did pretty good on the Redbreast and Bluegill. thumb

Thanks guys. We fished the park in Menard and access points east back to mason. After talking to fishing guide Billy Trimble yesterday, I learned that the fishing and acess actually improves upstream towards Ft McKavett. So, that's no on my radar.
