I've been fishing a new pond and I'm catching a lot of sunfish with gold pectoral fins and a black anal fin lined with gold and the tail lined with gold.
Any ideas? thanks

Try posting a picture if you can. What color is the body? Also how big are the fish?

Being in a pond that is a pretty good chance they could be greens especially the way you described the fins.  Side Note: Parks&Wildlife has a fish species identification page on their web site.

Could easily be a hybrid bluegill...but without a picture its hard to say.
