How much money do you spend monthly on fishing tackle? It's that time of year to be stocking up on baits, hooks, sinkers, rods and reels, etc.

I don't know if this poll is accurate for me because I am spending more now upgrading and restocking equipment after moving closer to fishing spots. Not much fishing in the desert. Im just about stocked for now and spending should level out.

I typically make 1 or 2 tackle purchases a year that are over $100 (Bass, Sunfish, Stripers/Hybrids). Right now I'm fully loaded and won't need to buy anything for 2016.
The only exception being if I start getting into Carp and Buffalo fishing, I don't have the gear for that.
Don't worry about the mule, just load the cart

Since I mainly fish for Sunfish the tackle is very inexpensive. The poles and reels are also very inexpensive as well. I use my sunfish rigs for Crappie and have caught a lot of other types of fish on sunfish rigs as well. I have two poles and reels geared for Bass and they are my most expensive. I use my bass rigs maybe twice a year. Over all I spend around $20 to $25 a month on tackle. Mainly hooks and shots. Also getting reels respooled . Yearly average about $240.00

Yeah, monthly I may restock on some line, terminal tackle, jigs and plastics. Will get a few new hard baits in the Spring and Early Summer, or maybe a new rod and/or reel in the Spring but don't see myself buying a panfish rod or reel this year. Got my eye on a ML grub rod for bass, but that's about it. I do troll eBay and other sites for a specific rod builder and specific rods that are no longer made. But, can't put them in a monthly budget. I'm probably hovering between $20 and $50.

Yep, in the $25 to $50 range...but almost nothing spent on bluegills. Just a little thread and feathers and catch all the 'gills one could ever want.

Interesting results. I usually spend between twentyfive and fifty bucks a month.

It depends on whether you are asking me or my wife? No matter what I say, she will say it's to much.
