Short term will be tough, but never complain about rain. I do think next spring could be off the charts good.
Long term outlook is even better with the good spawns and more cover for them to grow up.
Don't worry about the mule, just load the cart

As far as this year goes the bite will stay about the same on the Guadalupe River Lakes. If the river lakes don't get any major flooding from now until spring, spring should be one heck of a season!

I think with normal rain it will remain the same. If we get major flooding it could effect the bite in a very bad way! Just my two cents.

Well it looks today they went to the major flooding, all that water will hit down here on Tuesday. Just watched the river fall 4' while fishing a few hours yesterday. Now it is going back up + 6' over this weeks flooding
My personal best is still swimming out there just getting bigger. One of these days I will quit feeding it.

Spring bite could be really effected if flooding continues. Side Note: Dunlap and Placid ramps are closed!

Bite sometimes improve. However with flooding the fishing will only get worst.
