Summer is just about over for the year and fall gets under way Wednesday Sept. 23. I have been mainly targeting Crappie this year but have also targeted the sunfish. The sunfish bite has been picking up especially on the creeks. I have also been catching a few more Rios off of the river lakes and creeks. Looks like this upcoming fall bite is going to be GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD. woot woot woot

Who is going to fish the fall bite and what type of water body will you be fishing? coolio

I plan to fish at the Lynn Creek Marina fishing pier every Wednesday from 6AM to 10AM for sunfish, channel catfish and carp.

Every other Saturday I plan to fish Hurst Chisholm pond starting at 6AM for stocked channel catfish.

Starting in November I will fish two ponds for stocked trout.

All in all this fall is shaping up for a lot of fishing.

If the late summer bite is any indication of what the fall bite will be,it is going to be "GREAT"! hooked The Rios are active on the creeks and the bite on the river lakes is picking up. dance2 The Sunfish are starting to get aggressive and are looking to get fat before the colder weather sets in! thumb Will be fishing a lot on rivers, lakes, and creeks. fish

Hopefully, my work load will slow down and I can get down to New Braunfels to do some fishing with Banker and Mike. Those guys are a ton of fun, I just hate that I don't get to see them any more often than I do.

Chuck, I'm already thinking about next year's Annual Guadalupe River FIshing Retreat. Get ready

As for my son and I we are having just a horrible time right now...all our fish for the most part are running unusually small for our water. There is very little signs of Redbreasts, yesterday was the 1st Redear, and the Rio's are less than desired. We certainly need a cold front to "activate" some of the larger fish up to shallow water...on a positive though our smaller flies are looking "buggier" than ever lol.

Mutt doesn't need another record. he's already hard enough to talk to..

More guys would be fun. We can get mutt to bring his boat up and whoever else. Hopefully you'll have a bag or two of kitty filets sitting around in your freezer. Boudain balls, yum, yum..

We kinda kicked around the idea of doing a week on Sam Rayburn or Livingston. Would you and Mike be up for that?
