The latest post on my sunfish blog is available here.

For newcomers, the blog is a series of how-to articles on Texas sunfishing by myself and other TFF members.

Awesome post. Good information right there! cheers

Side Note: I love using 6 pound test line. For me it is the best line to handle my style of fishing. I have used 4 pound test and just did not like the way it handled. Again that is just me! thumb

I use fluorocarbon tippet when fly fishing subsurface. I use 6 lb. mono on my spinning gear but have been thinking about trying fluorocarbon.

Have you experimented with fluorocarbon? It is supposed to be nearly invisible under water.

Also, I picked up a tip on tying flies at the Expo. As bluegill are also sensitive to smell it was recommended to use a water based glue, instead of normal super glue when tying flies.

I have never tried fluorocarbon line. The main reason I switched to braid was the small diameter which gives long casts on a light bait.
