I went out today and the bite was tough. I caught one small one on a float and one small one on a dropshot. I packed it up and went home.

At least you did not get the BIG SKUNK! clap The same conditions are down here in my neck of the woods. nuts I fished Dunlap today from 10am till 2;30pm and only caught seven fish. bang Three small Bluegill, two eater size Bluegill (8"range") one bass about a pound, and a nice Rio that was about 9". coolio The water was muddy but clearing up. eeks There was also a lot of debris in the water and made it impossible to fish certain spots. hmmm Gonna take another day or two to clear up. juggle

About the time the water starts to clear we get another big rain. I guess we shouldn't complain, it's far better than the drought, LOL!!!

If you think that's tough, try using a fly rod and artificial fly in muddy water. I head over to the spring fed ponds under these conditions. They are usually much clearer water in them.

Good report. It has been the same down here. Muddy. The water is clearing up and it should be good this weekend. Gonna be giving it a try.
