Any idea if they are on the beds yet at Conroe? I hope to get out there later this week.

Don't know about Conroe but they are on beds here in the San Antonio area. Been catching some very nice gills in 4 to 8 feet of water in the river lakes and in 2 to 5 feet of water in creeks. thumb

I would think the next couple of weeks leading up to the full moon should be great.

I am very interested in going fishing for sunfish on Conroe. I've been doing a little research on the lake.

Please update us with a report.

What he said^^

Also, just alittle further north is Lake Raven. Bream are great there. If you can't find them on beds, fish some of the ends of lay downs.

During the hot days the bite is on, but when it starts getting chilly, they slow back down. And no they arent on beds yet.

I went yesterday morning on the North end. I scanned several places that had beds last year w/ side imaging but did not see any beds yet. Pulled some small fish from around fallen trees but nothing very exciting.
