Yes. They sometimes ride a little rough for some people.

My third truck with Rancho's installed immediately after driving it off the lot. One had 125K miles and the other 190K, my recent truck now has 72K. Never a leak, nor have I had to replace one.

Your buying a name, they aren't magical, I would spend my money elsewhere.

My RANCHOs have been good Mine probably would have too with a lot of money thrown at it. Not sure how the OP uses his truck but if off road I would look at some Fox's or other quality shocks. Of course you are going to spend more. I had Bilstein 6112s on the front and 5160s remote res on the rear of my Tacoma and the ride was great. I could out run the mules on the deer lease. I read somewhere yesterday that the Ranchos that Ford uses on the Fx4 are cheap Chinese junk.

Installed the rear Monroe Load Levelers this morning.....I haven't had a chance to see if there is any difference in the ride yet as the wife took the trk , had them put on and went to her moms in Spring. She says it rides great...Neto xt week the front struts.
