Anyone have a car lift in their garage?
I am seriously considering getting one - have 10 foot flat ceiling.
Whether you think you can or you can't, you are probably right.

Is a ten foot ceiling tall enough? It doesn't seem like it would be, I guess maybe it would work for cars.
Some day I plan to have one in my shop.

There are lifts that stand 96" tall and are cable driven that look pretty aweomse.
I want to stack cars - and also use for restoration.
Whether you think you can or you can't, you are probably right.

Are the cars you're stacking 2' tall? Seems like if the car was at a minimum 5' tall you would only be able to lift it at most 4' off the ground. I'd have to think the lift its-self is going to be about 6"-8" tall on the frame. Maybe I'm overthinking it???

If 7500 sounds good go on up to 10k not that much money difference and you will be much happier IMHO.

There are several mfg 's in Mansfield area. Gemini comes to mind .I bought my first from a Cali. co and low and behold it was made in Mansfield ,! Check you may be able to buy factory direct or at least pick it up yourself and save some money?
