Have a tandem trailer on the right side front gone through two tires in a couple months not over-inflated but going bald in the middle. Any ideas what could be causing it?

Sometimes this means running an outrageously wide tire on a narrow wheel. Change the tire or change the wheel....

I would pull trailer straight into a parking lot and check with something known to be straight rest it against the 2 tires on that side to make sure they are inline.should be no gaps.
