 truck inspection question

I recently purchased a Ford F450 and it has a regular dually bed. The previous owner used it for his business and had a commercial inspection. I am using it for my own personal use. The inspecting agent told me I still need to get a commercial inspection. Tax office didn't think it should be commercial unless I was using it for business.
What's the correct answer.

Spoke to the compliance office today and they told me I did not need a commercial inspection.
