 Team work with Kayak gets only Carp of the day! 2-4-16

Came out to my local spot at the denton pond today and wind was still blowing towards opposite bank of parking area. I knew today would be a slow or blank day unless I made the long trek around the pond. But as luck would have it a young man showed up with a red kayak when I pulled up this morning. I asked him to drop my line more than half way across the pond where the wind was blowing towards. (several hundred yards). Only bite of the day was on that one taken out by kayaker and I landed it after a VERY long fight! 30 inch carp 13 lbs 5oz.
