We fished the frio river lastnight before it gets too cold for gar. We didn't catch any alligator gar but the wife landed this 43inch longnose gar

COOL! never seen a LN gar that big. maybe I just assume all bigger gar are gator gar and do not look closely. I will from now on. Thanks for the pic

Thanx for thr replies! Chuck, she says thank you!...no she didnt catch it on her ultralight but she did have it in the boat with her. It would've been something to catch a 43in gar on a 24in pole
