I do not target drum, but while fishing behind the spillway on the first bend of the river i caught nearly 30 drum within 2 hours. Some only 12" but others where around 20". They where hitting everything i through out instantly from worms, cut perch, stink bait and fresh shad. It really made it hard to catch a catfish.... it was fun but tiring lol. If you are in the market for drum thats the place to go right now. good luck.

I caught a mess of them down there one summer. They tasted very musky, muddy. The ones I catch from the lake always taste nice and clean, especially during the cooler months.
