I took out a new friend of mine to catch him his first trophy size carp over 30 inches. There was rain in the forecast all day and sure enough it rained all morning. The wind was intense and water was white capping. I told my buddy conditions look great but damn it kinda cold!
His first fish was 14lb 4 oz and 33 inches long! I also hooked up with smaller carp at the same time!
After that it was double after double as we got soaked and whipped by the wind and rain. I got a nice double right at 15 and 16 lbs so I had to go for the double photo opp. Where did my arms go?!? Just looks like hands coming out of my hips holding two big carp. That was fun! One fish had a huge treble hook in its mouth and a steel leader so I had to do some surgery. Luckily I had some cutters to nip all the barbs and get that trash out of the fishes mouth.
Big fish of the day.
