It may be too far, but in the past, I bought cotton seed meal at Handley feeds on HWY 80 between west Arlington and Handley.

Talked to Russel Feed in Benbrook looking for the cottonseed cakes just this weekend. Said the plant that made them closed down. They recommended I try the 37% Range cubes as the highest percent of cottonseed meal. I have used the 20% cubes with excellent results to attract carp to the area. Once I finish off that 50 lb bag I will likely try the 37%. The 20% crumble up pretty easily and break down very easily when wet. They said 50 lbs of the 37% cubes was $8. http://www.accofeeds.com/acco/en/our-products/cattle/supercharged-37-range-cube/index.jsp

what do you do with the cotton seed meal ? A good pack bait and a hair rigged plastic corn can be just as effective... also a range cube hair rigged is a deadly bait thrown in a range cube chummed area .i used to buy c/s/m back in my dough bait days but found its much easier fishing the way described above '

Mix into other bait recipes maybe? I've seen it listed as an ingredient several times.

Cottonseed Meal is pretty popular in organic gardening and can be bought at most livestock feed stores. My buddy that is into organics lives right outside Lewisville. I called him. He said he buys it at Johnson Feed in Lewisville.
