 BIG Ole long nose gar!

 Well this is a pic of my brother David and he is 6ft 200lbs. As you can see the tail is touching the grass and the nose is almost head level! We were going to call and get this beast checked in as the state record but we realized my brothers fishinglicense had just expired that week! Ahhhh! Oh well it was a great fish and we put it back in the water and it swam away strong.

FYI state record for Oklahoma. It was on the red river. I know Kirk Kirkland has cought bigger in Texas.

That's an awesome fish! Congrats. I've caught some monster Longnose Gar as well, I know a body of water where there is state record potential fish. Tx state record is 50.31lbs. That fish looks close or better to that.
