I'm interested in finding some shallow water carp in Lake Granbury. I am looking to find a couple decent places to fly fish for carp that are either accessible by wading or kayak.
Thanks for your suggestions.

There is a ton of them around THE DOCK, the restaurant that is closed down right next to the 377 bridge. They have a hole in their dock and people fed them year round. I bet they haven't left that area

Right now, ALL of Lake Granbury is shallow water. That being said, Hunter Park on the North end of the lake (where Hwy. 51 first crosses) has good shallow water areas. You probably could walk all the way across and not get your knees wet. Obviously the boat ramp is closed, but there's picnic tables, fire grates and best of all, it's free. I've fished a couple of sessions there and landed carp and buffs in the low teens.
