I thing a lot of us use photobucket as a host site for our pictures, and we then post them to this forum. Maybe I am reading it wrong, but it looks like photobucket is changing their free hosting policy and we may not be able to post our pictures without some kind of paid subscription.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this seems to apply to people who are sharing pics not created by them. What I am trying to say is this. If you took all your pics with your own camera Photobucket is still free. However if you are linking pics from other areas, than there will be a subscription fee to do that. That is the way I understand it. I only have about 50 photos on Photobucket that I have taken, and I have not received any notice, and/or they have not blocked my pics on other sites. Maybe they will still block them but so far no problem. I will tell you this, and that is their site is loaded with advertisements, which is a turn off for me. It has gotten slower and inundated with adds. I will eventually be removing my pics from there because of this and looking for another photo webhosting service.

The way I understand it, to be able to use your own photos, like those I post here on TFF, I will have to buy a subscription. I looked into the subscription, it is expensive. All my pictures here on TFF are now blocked. I will probably just link to my Facebook from now on.
