 Large school of Crappie beside a brushpile, School of bait above the pile. The Large marks are big fish hanging out. We caught a bunch of these fish.

Found the same situation yesterday. Fished a number of tops with meager results.
Came across one bamboo top with a school of Shad as big as my boat. Some crappie feeding and others near the bottom. I ended the day with 17 crappie which was plenty to clean. Caught 50 or 60 in this one spot.
Wish I would have been strong enough to lay down my pole and take a picture of the Fish Finder....lol.
After the slow early morning, I felt Blessed.
The Truth is six of the seven Dwarfs are not Happy!
