I have Down imaging, side imaging and sonar now with my Mega unit. Simply attached the puck with a transducer shield and saver and run the transducer cable like any other trolling motor in the past. Works great.

NO MORE SONAR,..? OR BOTH.. A MEGA DI transducer does three different Imaging frequencies and 2D sonar. Have not seen the specs, but the current MEGA DI transducers have the Low-Q Dual Spectrum CHIRP 2D crystal-140-240 kHz.
Helix 12 CHIRP MEGA SI+ GPS G3N and G4N, 1198c SI, SOLIX 10 SI G3,
Helix 8 MEGA SI+ GPS G4N, SOLIX 12 SI and G3, MEGA 360, MEGA LIVE TL, RC-1

So should I go ahead and buy my Ultrex now or wait for this one to come out?
