Didn't have a lot of time to fish on Sunday as my wife shot a big gar in the a.m. and we messed with it a lot that day. I did catch a few and also was able to finish a limit yesterday evening and a good blue cat on a jig also. All caught from the barge and on jigs. Most were caught on the fall. I was using the Lake Fork jigs I got from them while at the CrappieFest. Black and Green, white and clear with silver sparkles. I originally thought the bite was slow and then really realized that I never switched to minnows when they slowed down on jigs. May be first time for me not switching.




Since I mentioned the GAR she shot a pending Lake Belton record long nose gar, 60 1/2" and 31.38 lbs. She was very excited. Thanks to our new fish Taxidermist Bill (FINS AND BONES) here in Temple we were able to get it certified quickly and he will also be mounting it. We appreciate your time Bill.
