Has anyone tried the big boss oil less fryer? I believe they sale them at Walmart, you don't use oil to fry fish.

Yes I have and I didn't care for it for fish. Comes out chewy not crispy.

Just bought the AirFryer XL a month ago. Haven't done fish in it yet, but I've been watching a bunch of Youtube vids of others doing it. You actually use a little bit of oil, but only a teaspoon or a bit of cooking spray.

SoonerDG, you'll probably have to experiment a couple times to get it how you like it. I figure on messing up a few during the learning curve.

These air fryers are basically a small convection oven. Just a heating element and a fan.

Fishin' to stock Lake Crisco.

The two batches that I have seen cooked out of 2 different models looked liked fish fried in oil that sat around for an hour.

The meat was done and moist, but the breading was not crisp and dry.
