I commented on a post just a few weeks ago about waiting till they have a little submarine to look for the fish instead of buying that Mega Chirp whatever. Well, I didn't have to wait long. No guarantee they will bite. I remember my parents fishing below Bull Shoals in water so clear it looked like a swimming pool. Huge Brown trout on the bottom everywhere. You could drop a bait in front of them and watch them just back up and move away.
Possum Kingdom has been a little like that this year but the right bait and fluorocarbon line has filled both my freezers with crappie.

A big ole flathead would swallow that whole if I put it in the water.
The driving force and secret desire of every bass fisherman, is to one day be a crappie fisherman............Could it be that the good Lord just smilies and looks the other way when a fisherman tells a lie?
