Patio umbrella is in the boat and batteries are charging!! Little mans hot we gotta fish the wrong end of the lake and we're not going to CC! I told him box Pauls ears in come weight in and get it back to CC next year!

I really had the itch to go but with the combination of the weather they were calling for and the fact that I still don't have my boat seats back from the upholsterer I decided not to go and sleep in. I couldn't sleep and the neighbors across the street began running heavy equipment at 7:00 and the weather is nice so I am regrettable that decision.

For some reason I feel that if I don't launch in the dark it just isn't worth going!

Dad and I planned to be on the water at daylight the other day and woke up to a "DEAD" truck battery.

It was so dead you could not even jump it. Had to wait until the auto parts store opened at 7am.

Got a new truck battery and by the time we got to the lake it was 10:30am.

We still managed 30 keepers. It was definitely worth going. Just Saying.....

I know you are right Hogon! I just really enjoy being on the water when the sun comes up!

I checked the radar and although it is nice now it doesn't look like it will be for long.
