If you are fishing with minnows, you better take about 200, Because the little crappie will make you run out very quick! We had a really good week last week and caught a bunch of keepers every trip. But man we had a bunch of 8-9 inch fish to go along with them. The water temp stayed around 75 all week and the wind blew and blew and blew until this weekend and it ended up being a really pleasant weekend on the water weather wise. I still feel it's the early stages of the summer pattern. They are mostly everywhere they should be, but I still think the water is a little cool to have pulled all of the big ones out into the "deeper" water. Most of my big fish are coming in 12-24 foot of water. Moving after a couple of minutes of no bites is key too. If they don't bite it quick, they ain't there! After the 6th I'll have some openings and be able to get more people in. I've had a problem with people cancelling that have booked far in advance. So I'm trying to keep my schedule open for short notice trips. That works out better for me and the customer. I have plenty of weekend and weekday half day and working mans trips available coming up. So even if it's last minute, don't be afraid to call or anything! We can see what we can do! Hope everyone is having good luck out there! Here's some pics from the last few days!

Had a great time fishing with Cody last week on a last minute trip. He even found someone to split the trip with me to save me some cash. We fought the wind and caught fish on almost every stop. Several solid 1.25 to 1.5 lb. fish. Give him a call!

Hebrew 12:1b let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

I honestly think they're just moving around a lot. Getting settled into their summer pattern. The big ones are there, just gotta keep moving and moving.
