Bite was off today. Figured it may have something to do with the full moon, post front, sunny skies and calm conditions. Still managed some nice fish but from how thick the fish were stacked on cover it should have been game on. Still catching some males with color and a few females with eggs but not many. Safe to say the spawn is pretty much over. Couple pics from a nice day on the water.

Caught 14 keepers Sat. and 11 still had eggs. Got a limit Sun. that I will clean today and see what that holds. Lake Bardwell is definitely not done. Go figure. I sure would have thought they would be done by now.

The bite picked up Saturday afternoon/evening on Joe Pool. Fished for about the hours and caught 43 crappie. About 15 of those were keepers, but it was sure fun!

Plenty, a lot of small ones to weed through but there are keepers mixed in with them. Just about any structure on the lake is holding fish right now, bridges, brushpiles, timber, rocks, boat ramps, ledges and road beds.
