I may get a chance to wet a hook in east Texas tomorrow. My preferred lake, LOP, is about 4.5 feet high so I'm wondering what other options I have in that area. I'm considering Noconiche or Nacogdoches. Anyone have a preference and where I might find some slabs at either of these lakes? Thanks.

Between the two, I would say Nacogdoches is you best bet. You might consider Lake Palestine. Mark Standridge has been catching limits there every day lately.

Go to Nacogdoches. You will stay frustrated at Naconiche right now. I got skunked there on Monday.

I can point you in the right direction if you go to Nacogdoches.
